Elektrogorsk is a town located in the Moscow Oblast region of Russia. It is situated approximately 75 kilometers (47 miles) east of the capital city, Moscow.
According to census data, the population of the town was recorded at 18,391 during the 1989 Soviet census and reached 20,353 by the 2002 census.
