Dankov is a town located in the Lipetsk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Dankovsky District and is situated on the Don River, approximately 86 kilometers northwest of the oblast's administrative center, Lipetsk.
The town was previously known by the name Donkov. According to census data, the population of Dankov was 19,726 in 2021, following a decline from 24,659 recorded during the 1989 Soviet census.
