Vyborg

Vyborg is a town located in Russia that serves as the administrative center of the Vyborgsky District within the Leningrad Oblast. It is situated on the Karelian Isthmus near the head of Vyborg Bay.

The city is positioned approximately 130 km northwest of St. Petersburg and 245 km east of Helsinki, Finland. It lies about 38 km south of the Russian border with Finland, near the point where the Saimaa Canal enters the Gulf of Finland. According to the 2021 census, Vyborg has a population of 72,530.
