Sudzha is a town located in the Kursk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Sudzhansky District and is situated on the rivers Sudzha and Oleshnya, approximately 105 kilometers southwest of the oblast's administrative center, Kursk.
The town has a population of 5,127 people and functions as a natural gas exchange feeder where the Trans-Siberian pipeline meets the Brotherhood pipeline. Historically, the area was occupied by Ukrainian forces from August 15, 2024, to March 12, 2025, following an incursion into the region.
