Safakulevo is a rural locality situated in the Kurgan Oblast region of Russia. It serves as the administrative center for the Safakulevsky District.
According to census data, the population of the locality has shown a gradual decline over several decades. The 1989 Soviet census recorded a population of 4,557, which decreased to 4,286 by 2002 and further down to 3,629 as of the 2010 census.
