Primorsko-Akhtarsk is a port town located in the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Primorsko-Akhtarsky District and is situated on the coast of the Sea of Azov.
The town is positioned approximately 151 kilometers (94 mi) northwest of Krasnodar, which is the administrative center of the krai. According to census data, the population was recorded at 32,677 in 2002 and 32,257 in 2010.
