Abinsk is a town located in the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Abinsky District and is situated approximately 75 kilometers (47 miles) southwest of Krasnodar, which is the administrative center of the krai.
The population of the town has shown steady growth over recent decades. According to census data, the population was 39,058 in 2020, increasing from 34,928 in 2010 and 33,734 in 2002. These figures represent a significant rise from the 1989 Soviet census, which recorded 29,182 residents.
