Chukhloma is a town located in the Kostroma Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Chukhlomsky District and is situated on Lake Chukhloma.
The town is positioned approximately 50 kilometers (31 mi) from the railway node of Galich and 171 kilometers (106 mi) northeast of Kostroma, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to the 2021 census, Chukhloma has a population of 4,252 residents.
