Yemva is a town located in the Komi Republic of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Knyazhpogostsky District and is situated on the Vym River, approximately 130 kilometers (81 miles) northeast of Syktyvkar.
According to census data, the population of Yemva has fluctuated over recent decades. The town recorded a population of 14,570 in 2010, following figures of 16,739 in 2002 and 18,782 during the 1989 Soviet census.
