Kirovo-Chepetsk is a town located in the Kirov Oblast of Russia. It is situated at the confluence of the Cheptsa and Vyatka Rivers, approximately 20 kilometers east of the city of Kirov.
According to census data, the population of the town was 80,921 in 2010, following a decrease from 90,303 in 2002 and 92,382 during the 1989 Soviet census.
