Yugorsk is a town located in the Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug of Russia. It is situated in the northwestern part of the East-West lowland, approximately 420 kilometers (260 mi) away from the regional center of Khanty-Mansiysk.
According to census data, the town's population has shown growth over recent decades. The population was recorded at 24,928 during the 1989 Soviet census, increasing to 30,285 in 2002 and reaching 34,067 by the 2010 census.
