Kogalym

Kogalym is a town located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug region of Russia. It is situated on the Inguyagun River, approximately 325 kilometres (202 mi) northeast of the regional center, Khanty-Mansiysk.

According to census data, the population of Kogalym has shown growth over recent decades. The 1989 Soviet census recorded a population of 44,297, which rose to 55,367 in 2002 and reached 58,181 by the 2010 census.
