Sorsk is a town located in the Republic of Khakassia, Russia. It is situated approximately 145 kilometers (90 miles) northwest of the city of Abakan.
According to census data, the population of Sorsk has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 12,143 residents, following a count of 13,313 in 2002 and 15,130 during the 1989 Soviet census.
