Pryazha is an urban locality situated in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Pryazhinsky District.
The town is located approximately 49 kilometers (30 miles) west of Petrozavodsk, which is the capital of the republic. It sits about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from the Shuya River. According to the 2010 Census, the population of Pryazha was 3,675.
