Maloyaroslavets is a town located in Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Maloyaroslavetsky District within the Kaluga Oblast. The town is situated on the right bank of the Luzha River, approximately 61 kilometers (38 miles) northeast of Kaluga, which is the administrative center of the oblast.
According to census data, the population of Maloyaroslavets has shown growth over several decades. In 2021, the population was recorded at 41,836, following previous counts of 30,392 in 2010, 31,606 in 2002, and 26,582 in 1989. The population was notably lower in 1970, with a recorded count of 21,200.
