Tsagan Aman

Tsagan Aman is a rural locality situated in the Republic of Kalmykia, Russia. It serves as the administrative center for both the Yustinsky District and the Tsagan Aman Rural Settlement. The town is located approximately 300 kilometres (190 mi) northeast of Elista, the capital of the republic.

Founded in 1798, Tsagan Aman is notable for being the only settlement within the Republic of Kalmykia situated on the Volga River. According to census data, the population was recorded at 6,545 in 1989, decreasing to 5,926 in 2002 and reaching 6,027 by 2010.
