Nesterov

Nesterov is a town located in the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Nesterovsky District and is situated approximately 140 kilometers (87 mi) east of the regional capital, Kaliningrad.

The town is positioned near the Russian-Lithuanian border along a railway line that connects the Kaliningrad Oblast with Moscow. According to census data, the population was recorded at 4,595 in 2010, following figures of 5,049 in 2002 and 4,826 in the 1989 Soviet census.
