Baltiysk

Baltiysk is a seaport town located in the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Baltiysky District and is situated on the northern part of the Vistula Spit. The city sits on the shore of the Strait of Baltiysk, which separates the Vistula Lagoon from Gdańsk Bay.

Prior to 1946, the town was known by its German name, Pillau. According to the 2021 census, the population of Baltiysk was 33,946.
