Puchezh is a port town located in Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Puchezhsky District within the Ivanovo Oblast. The town is situated on the west side of the Volga River, approximately 175 kilometers east of Ivanovo, which is the administrative center of the oblast.
The population of Puchezh has fluctuated over recent decades. According to census data, the population was 6,879 in 2021, down from 8,588 in 2010 and 10,345 in 2002. In the 1989 Soviet census, the town's population was recorded at 12,712.
