Ivanovo

Ivanovo is a city located in Russia and serves as the administrative center and largest city of the Ivanovo Oblast. It is situated approximately 254 kilometers (158 mi) northeast of Moscow and about 100 kilometers (62 mi) from the cities of Yaroslavl, Vladimir, and Kostroma.

As of the 2021 Census, the city has a population of 361,644, ranking it as the 50th largest city in Russia. Historically known as Ivanovo-Voznesensk until 1932, it is recognized as the youngest city of the Golden Ring of Russia.
