Gavrilov Posad is a town located in the Ivanovo Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Gavrilovo-Posadsky District and is situated on the Voymiga River at its confluence with the Irmes River.
The town is positioned approximately 85 kilometers southwest of Ivanovo, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to the 2021 census, Gavrilov Posad has a population of 5,429 residents.
