Vikhorevka is a town located in the Bratsky District of Irkutsk Oblast, Russia. It is situated on the left bank of the Vikhorevka River, positioned approximately 916 kilometers northwest of Irkutsk and 46 kilometers southwest of Bratsk.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades, recorded at 23,872 in the 1989 Soviet census, 24,763 in 2002, and 22,520 in 2010.
