Kasumkent is a village located in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Suleyman-Stalsky District and is situated approximately 187 kilometers south of Makhachkala, the capital of the republic.
As the largest inhabited locality within the Suleyman-Stalsky District, Kasumkent had a recorded population of 12,000 residents in 2002.
