Izberbash is a town located in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. It is situated on the coast of the Caspian Sea, approximately 56 kilometers (35 miles) southeast of Makhachkala, which serves as the capital of the republic.
According to census data, the population of Izberbash has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 55,646, following a count of 39,365 in 2002 and 28,122 during the 1989 Soviet census.
