Kunashak is a rural locality located in the Chelyabinsk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Kunashaksky District.
According to census data, the population of the settlement has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 6,296 residents, following figures of 5,993 in 2002 and 5,703 during the 1989 Soviet census.
