Korocha is a town and the administrative center of the Korochansky District in the Belgorod Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the right bank of the Korocha River, approximately 57 kilometers (35 miles) northeast of Belgorod, which serves as the administrative center of the oblast.
According to census data, the population of Korocha has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2021 census recorded a population of 5,623 residents, following figures of 5,877 in 2010 and 6,046 in 2002.
