Yanaul is a town located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. It is situated on the Yanaulka River, approximately 230 kilometers (140 mi) north of the city of Ufa.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 26,924, following a figure of 27,909 in 2002 and 25,727 during the 1989 Soviet census.
