Sibay

Sibay is a town located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. It is situated on the east slope of the Southern Urals within the spurs of Irendyk, positioned on the border between Europe and Asia. The town is located approximately 464 kilometers (288 miles) from Ufa, which serves as the capital of the republic.

Demographic data shows a growing population over recent decades. According to the 1989 Soviet census, the population was 47,257, increasing to 59,082 by the 2002 census and reaching 62,763 as of the 2010 census.
