Baymak

Baymak is a town located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. It is situated in the upper streams of the Tanalyk River, approximately 489 kilometers (304 miles) south of the regional capital, Ufa.

According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 17,710, following figures of 17,223 in 2002 and 15,976 during the 1989 Soviet census.
