Kamyzyak is a town located in the Astrakhan Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Kamyzyaksky District and is situated on the banks of the Kamyzyak River.
The town is positioned approximately 27 kilometers (17 miles) south of Astrakhan, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population was recorded at 16,314 in 2010, following a previous count of 16,052 in 2002 and 15,084 during the 1989 Soviet census.
