Yarensk is a rural locality situated in the Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Lensky District.
The settlement is located on the bank of the Vychegda River, positioned near its confluence with the Yarenga River. According to census data, the population was 3,660 in 2010, following figures of 4,085 in 2002 and 4,246 in the 1989 Soviet census.
