Nyandoma is a town located in the Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Nyandomsky District and is situated approximately 347 kilometers (216 miles) south of Arkhangelsk, which is the administrative center of the oblast.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 22,356, following a figure of 22,619 in 2002 and 24,826 during the 1989 Soviet census.
