Kotlas is a town located in the Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia. It is situated at the confluence of the Northern Dvina and Vychegda Rivers.
According to census data, the population of Kotlas was 60,562 in 2010, following a figure of 60,647 in 2002 and 68,021 during the 1989 Soviet census.
