Konosha is an urban locality situated in the Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia. It is located on the Konosha River, approximately 400 kilometers (250 mi) south of the city of Arkhangelsk. The town serves as the administrative center for both the Konoshsky District and the Danilovsky Selsoviet, which is one of ten selsoviets within the district.
Municipally, the locality is incorporated as the Konoshskoye Urban Settlement. According to census data, the population was 12,432 in 2010, following a decline from 17,143 during the 1989 Soviet census.
