Karpogory is a rural locality situated in the Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia. It is located on the right bank of the Pinega River and serves as the administrative center for the Pinezhsky District.
The settlement functions as the administrative center of both the Karpogorsky Rural Settlement and the Karpogorsky Selsoviet, which is one of seventeen selsoviets within the district. According to census data, the population was 4,443 in 2010, following a decline from 5,335 in the 1989 Soviet census.
