Turochak is a rural locality situated in the Altai Republic of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Turochaksky District.
According to census data, the population of the settlement has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 5,582 residents, following figures of 5,484 in 2002 and 5,080 during the 1989 Soviet census.
