Giaginskaya is a rural locality situated in Russia and serves as the administrative center of the Giaginsky District within the Republic of Adygea. It is located approximately 35 kilometers, or 22 miles, from the city of Maykop.
The settlement is characterized by its significant demographic weight within its region, holding the distinction of being the most populous administrative center of a district in the republic. As of the 2010 census, Giaginskaya had a population of 14,121, which accounts for 44.5% of the total population of the Giaginsky District.
