Golubac is a village and municipality situated in the Braničevo District of eastern Serbia. It is located on the right side of the Danube river and shares borders with Romania to the east, Veliko Gradište to the west, and Kučevo to the south.
The population of the village is 1,445, while the municipality has a total population of 6,599. The area serves as a popular destination for tourism, fishing, and sailing due to its proximity to several archaeological sites and the Đerdap national park.
