Petrăchioaia is a commune located in the eastern part of Ilfov County within the Muntenia region of Romania. The administrative area is composed of four distinct villages: Măineasca, Surlari, Petrăchioaia, and Vânători.
The name of the commune is the feminine form of Petrache, a name of Greek origin derived from Petrakis.
