Bolintin-Vale is a town located in Giurgiu County within the Muntenia region of Romania. As of 2021, the town has a population of 12,806 and serves as the administrative center for three villages: Crivina, Malu Spart, and Suseni.
The municipality officially attained town status in 1989 following the Romanian rural systematization program. It is currently recognized as the second largest city in Giurgiu County. The local economy has been significantly influenced by the town's geographical proximity to the national capital, Bucharest.
