Perișani is a commune situated in Vâlcea County within the Muntenia region of Romania. It serves as an administrative division composed of eight distinct villages: Băiașu, Mlăceni, Perișani, Podeni, Poiana, Pripoare, Spinu, and Surdoiu.
The commune's current composition was established following a territorial reorganization in 2002. Prior to this date, the area included the villages of Bratovești, Cucoiu, and Titești, which were subsequently split off to form the separate Titești Commune.
