Berbești is a town located in Vâlcea County, Romania. Situated in the historical region of Oltenia, it lies approximately 78 km (48 mi) southwest of the county seat, Râmnicu Vâlcea.
The settlement was officially granted town status by law in October 2003. According to the 2021 census, Berbești has a population of 4,231 residents.
