Perieni is a commune located in the Vaslui County region of Western Moldavia, Romania. The administrative area consists of a single village also named Perieni.
Historically, the commune was larger and included four additional villages. These four settlements were separated from Perieni in 2004 to establish the independent Ciocani Commune.
