Husi

Romania

Huși is a city located in Vaslui County, Romania, within the historical region of Western Moldavia. It served as the former capital of the disbanded Fălciu County and currently functions as a Romanian Orthodox episcopal see. The city is situated on a branch of the Iași–Galați railway, approximately fourteen kilometres west of the Prut River and the border with the Republic of Moldova.

The city is recognized for hosting some of the best vineyards in Romania. As of 2021, Huși had a recorded population of 25,045 residents.
