Nufăru is a commune located in the Northern Dobruja region of Tulcea County, Romania. The locality was known as Prislav until 1968.
Historically, the area is thought to have served as Pereyaslavets, which was the short-lived ancient capital of Kievan Rus. The modern commune is composed of four villages: Ilganii de Jos, Malcoci, Nufăru, and Victoria.
