Ceamurlia de Jos is a commune situated in the southeastern region of Tulcea County within Northern Dobruja, Romania. The area covers a total landmass of 119,43 km² and currently has a population of approximately 2,620 residents.

The geography of the region includes the Golovița Lake, which is located to the south of the commune. The name Ceamurlia de Jos is derived from the Turkish word Çamurlu, which translates to "muddy."
