Vălcani is a commune located in Timiș County, Romania. The administrative area consists of a single village also named Vălcani.
The settlement has experienced various changes in its administrative status over time. It functioned as an independent commune from 1877 until 1968, at which point it became part of the Dudeștii Vechi commune. In 2005, Vălcani regained its status as an independent commune.
