Uivar is a commune located in Timiș County, Romania. It serves as an administrative division composed of four distinct villages: Pustiniș, Răuți, Sânmartinu Maghiar, and Uivar.
The current composition of the commune was established following administrative changes in 2008. During that year, the villages of Otelec and Iohanisfeld were separated from Uivar to form their own independent commune, having previously been part of Uivar since 1968.
