Lugoj is a city located in Timiș County, Romania. The urban landscape is geographically divided into two distinct sections by the Timiș River. These areas are known as "Romanian Lugoj," which extends along the right bank of the river, and "German Lugoj," situated on the left bank.
In addition to its primary urban center, the city administers two surrounding villages, Măguri and Tapia.
