Coșteiu is a commune situated in Timiș County, Romania. It is geographically positioned on the right bank of the Timiș River, located downstream from the city of Lugoj.
The administrative area of the commune is composed of five distinct villages: Coșteiu, Hezeriș, Păru, Țipari, and Valea Lungă Română.
